TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)
CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00): Thursday, 2 December 2021
The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of SNA CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS(PTY)LTD invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for undertaking site laboratory testing in accordance with SANS 3001 for the partial reconstruction of National Road R511 section 3 from Beestekraal (km 36) to NW/Limpopo border (km 78). This project is in the province of North West and in the district municipality of Bojanala with Brits being the main centre and the approximate duration is 24 months, commencing February 2022.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 65%.
Joint Ventures (JV) shall be required with the Lead Partner being a suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratory and the Targeted Partner being a Targeted Enterprise as defined in the tender data.
Only tenders that comply with the following B-BBEE contributor status levels are eligible to tender:
The Joint Venture shall have a consolidated project specific B-BBEE scorecard of status Level 1 or 2 B-BBEE contributor for every tender
Lead Partner must have a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1 or 2 or 3 or 4.
Targeted Partner must have a B-BBEE contributor level of 1 or 2.
