BVi Consulting Engineers Western Cape (Pty) Ltd invites tenders on behalf of the Applicant, the South
African National Roads Agency SOC limited, for the Subservice of managing the environmental process
and monitoring environmental compliance during construction for The improvement within Alexandria
on National Route R72 Section 2 km 0.0 to km 1.2 . This project is in the province of the Eastern Cape
and in the district municipality of Sarah Baartman. The approximate programme for design is to be
completed by April 2022, followed by construction monitoring of 12 months, commencing January 2023.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.
The Applicant is committed to transformation, employment equity and staff advancement, and to
supporting black economic empowerment.
Only tenders with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1 or 2, are eligible to tender.
Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that 1 (one) JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise.
Only tenderers whose Key Person/s have at least eight (8) years of practical post graduate experience
as an environmental assessment practitioner are eligible to submit tenders.
It will be an advantage for the tenderer to be registered with the Environmental Division of the South
African Council of Natural Science Professions (SACNASP) and/ or any other recognised environmental
professional body.

access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.
Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a
Tender within seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date. Failure to submit this certificate would
result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the
tenderer being non-responsive.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS
